Luxury is a much over-used term, but we mean seriously beautiful, exclusive properties owned and operated by private individuals or run by small, boutique operators specialising in the very top end of the market.

The chalets that we choose fulfil the most exacting criteria and have all been visited by us. Each is comprehensively reviewed, from the brand of toiletries provided to the best room to book. Forensic detail is key. We also give chalets scores out of 10 on everything from level of luxury to standard of food and wine. Most importantly, chalets do not pay to appear on the site.

As well as offering an ever-growing collection of high-end chalets, The Chic Chalet Guide will also bring you the very latest news, from new properties to new services, as soon as it is announced. Over the coming weeks we will also introduce full reviews of the resorts where the chalets are. We will tell you the best mountain restaurants to book for lunch, where the most superb off-piste can be found, and even the slinkiest cocktail bar to head for when you want a quiet late night drink.

Lastly, The Chic Chalet Guide is also a free on-line advice and booking service. Each of the chalet reviews ends with an email address that links back to us for any enquiries and unbiased advice. We will respond for free but will put you in touch with the operators directly if you would like to make a booking or carry the enquiry any further.
