Treize Etoiles II is a fabulously stylish chalet apartment with a fantastic location in one of the top resorts in the Alps.
location
The chalet is located just three minutes on foot from the Place Centrale, right in the heart of Verbier, and so is brilliantly located for shops, restaurants, night life and après ski. Transport is laid on every day to and from the lifts, with the main Medran station being just three minutes away. Treize Etoiles II is, quite simply, the height of convenience.
style
Gorgeously lavish, with stag antlers, fur rugs and wooden cosiness throughout. The main living/dining space is really impressive, with battered leather armchairs and sofas at one end and a stylish dining table at the other beside an open plan kitchen. A giant stone fireplace sits in the middle of the front wall, with French windows either side opening out onto a sun-drenched South facing balcony. ^
rooms
The bedrooms are all extremely cosy and, once again, stylish, all old timber and crunchy bed linen with fur throws. The bathrooms are modern and gleaming, and each room is equipped with a flatscreen TV and Sonos music system (the owner of the chalet invented Sonos, no less). There is a bunk room for four, three doubles with en suite bathrooms and another double with shared shower room. ^
food & drink
Pure heaven. The chalet hires top-of-the-range chefs who will prepare everything from simple children’s meals to fancy fine dining for the adults. Given that the kitchen is open-plan, it is also fun to watch the feasts being put together and the chef is happy to share his culinary top tips.
There is a choice of three red and three white house wines that are unlimited and complimentary, as are soft drinks and beer. Champagne is extra, and there is an impressive à la carte wine list for guests to upgrade to. ^

spa facilities
The chalet has its own private hot tub on the South facing balcony, plus it shares a sauna and a steam room with one other apartment in the building, which is run by the same company. ^
children
Treize Etoiles II is really child-friendly. It has a lovely, cosy bunk room for four, the envy of many an adult, a Nintendo Wii, children’s DVDs galore, plus can offer early children’s supper and can also book babysitting and activities for little ones. ^
extras
The chalet has a sun-filled South facing balcony, an impressive 52” plasma screen with surround sound, and Apple Mac guest computer and wifi throughout. It also has its own private lift. ^
for skiers
Verbier is a grown-up, world class ski resort, with 410km of skiing for all levels and particularly excellent, accessible off-piste. If you haven’t skied there yet, do so as soon as possible. There are even world-beating mogul runs, should you love bump skiing, and lots of great events such as the Nissan Xtreme Verbier in March and the XSpeedSki in April. ^
for non skiers
The town is a vibrant, bustling, big resort with loads of shops selling everything from the inevitable ski gear to gorgeous home furnishings. If you want a cowskin rug or some designer lighting or the latest Moncler ski jacket, Verbier is the place. ^

Verbier is 1hr 45mins from Geneva and 45 mins from Sion. ^
